Fortnite downtime has been announced for the v41.20 update.
The update is expected to introduce the new Hot Bat Summer event, additional Sprites in Battle Royale, and fresh collaboration content featuring David Beckham and The Odyssey.
What Is Coming in Fortnite v41.20
The update is expected to include:
- Hot Bat Summer event content
- New Sprites in Battle Royale
- Batman-themed locations and items
- David Beckham collaboration cosmetics
- The Odyssey collaboration cosmetics
- New quests and unlockable rewards
- Item Shop additions
- General fixes and gameplay adjustments
The Batman-themed content is expected to include the Batcave landmark, the returning Batman Grapnel Gun, the Batman Sprite, and a new wave of DC cosmetics.
Downtime Details
Fortnite servers will go offline while Epic Games deploys the update.
Players will be unable to access Battle Royale, Zero Build, Creative, LEGO Fortnite, Festival, Rocket Racing, and other Fortnite experiences during downtime.
Epic Games has not yet confirmed exactly how long maintenance will last. Larger seasonal and collaboration updates can sometimes require several hours before all services return.
Players should finish matches and save any Creative work before downtime begins.
